I was walking my dog tonight, decided to go a different route than usual, and we were approached by this super skinny pregnant dog that looks like it’s been bred a million times before. She was peeing when I reached out to pet her, and her owner called out to her. When she didn’t come immediately he ran off the porch, grudgingly picked her up and threw her onto the porch so much that she slid against the wall. I know a woman on the rescue team that I will be contacting tomorrow morning, as my local humane society is mostly concerned with an animal having food or water available and they rarely do anything about it. rather than giving a warning. What else can I do and does anyone know if that will be enough to get the dog out of the house? I’m not really familiar with rescue laws.
